8020D with one or two 7040A Subwoofers

I'm going to create a stereo system with a pair of 8020D's as the main monitors on stands. I was thinking of buying two 7040A Subwoofers in lieu of just one. Could you explain the benefits of using a stero pair of 7040A's vs a single 7040A. Would a better solution be a single larger subwoofer like a 7350A (assuming it works well with the 8020D's)?

My room is 3.6m x 3.6m.

I prefer Class D powered subwoofers.

Thanks

I would go with the 7350 straight over 2x 7040 anyday.

Youll get the room calibration option and a little more bang for your buck :)

I would also choose the 8320s over the 8020s to compliment the 7350. SAM all the way.
